Night Out With Parents

Last week my parents were off to Lucknow for four days (25-11-2011 to 30-11-2011) to attend my cousin's. Their train was scheduled at 9:30 p.m. on the Friday night (25-11-2011) and would be coming back on the following Wednesday morning (30-11-2011). On Friday morning one of my society friends’ called me up and informed that they have planned to go Bangla Sahab Gurudwara at around 4:30 a.m, the next day (Saturday). I agreed to the plan happily as I had two reasons to enjoy.
  • ·        Parents were out of town for four days,
  • ·        I was completely free to do as much as matargasti as I could.

I finished my college and reached home by 5:30. By 8:45 we left our place and headed towards station. On our way to the station my mom suddenly remembered that she has forgotten her book at home, but we had no option except going ahead. After reaching old Delhi railway station, we came to know that the train has been delayed for 12:30. Then me and my sister decided that we would go back home and have dinner, moreover we would bring the book also. So we reached back the station by 11:30. Then again an announcement was made that the train has been delayed for 4:30 a.m.
There goes my first jhatka!!!! Bangla Sahab cancelled.
Dad suggested that he would stay at the station only and I should take mom back to home so that she can take a small nap. In the morning, mom and I woke up at around 4:00 and dad gave us one more jhatka that the train had been delayed for 5:15. This was the last straw for mom.  She decided to go Shatabdi Express, so I put on the net and searched for the tatkal booking for the train; 5 seats were still vacant on the train.
Shatabdi was scheduled for 6:15 a.m from New Delhi railway station. We (me and mom) left the home at around 5:00. After reaching Old Delhi station changed plan was told to dad and spent five more minutes in convincing him. He finally got convinced when another announcement was made that the train is “expected” to arrive at 6:15!!!!!! :D :D.
Finally, we left Old Delhi station at 5:30 and headed towards New Delhi Railway station reached New Delhi station by 5:45. Without wasting any time me and dad rushed towards the ticket window, filled up form and got the ticket for the train.
TIME: 6:05 a.m. (10 minutes left)
I came out to the car. Now it was mom and dad’s turn to rush. Train was to be boarded from Platform No. – 9 and only 10 minutes were left, they made their level best to catch the train. Having a doubt that they might miss the train, I was waiting for their call outside the station. At 6:15 I got a call from mom that that they have successfully boarded the train and we all took a breath of relief.
Now what??? It suddenly struck to my mind that my friends must be somewhere around in C.P only!!! I called them up……..
They were leaving from Bangla Sahab and would be reaching at a food joint besides the Regal building. I have heard a lot about that food joint but never been to it-
it is opened for 24 hours.
We had alloo ke paranthe with chaye and left for our home…wow!!!!! Having alloo ke paranthe at 6:30 in the morning!!! Thanks to Mom and dad!!!
But I still had to make one more visit to the station for getting the tickets cancelled for the train which was not yet arrived!!!!!
I went back to New Delhi station with one of my friends, got the tickets cancelled and came back to home. It was entirely a rocking night!!! Actually night out with Parents!!!!...     Rest of the three days were also good. Pata hi nahi chala kahan chale gaye???? Thanks to Madhubala Institute of Communication and Electronic Media. :D :D :D

My visit to Bharti Vidya Bhawan

Hello readers, I think I am updating my blog almost after 6 months. I am sorry but I could not find a good topic for the blog but now I have found one. This incident is quite old. It took place on 19th October, 2010. Actually it is not an incident.....you can call it as my experience. So here it is........
As I got finished with my college I headed towards Mandi House metro station. I had to go to Bharti Vidya Bhawan to inquire about the Spanish Language Course. When I reached the station I asked some people about the place but none of them knew that where it was. Finally a lady aged somewhere around 40-45 years told me the way. After walking for about 10-15 minutes I reached Shri Ram Center, from there I took a left turn and then it was a walk of about 15-20 minutes I was walking on a lonely street and was getting tired on each step(the reason was that I was really exhausted by spending the entire day in college and then travelling from South Delhi to Central Delhi in a crowded metro), but after walking few more steps I started enjoying my walk.
I was sighting some huge bungalows  of  high ranking government officials which totally amazed me and brought some energy mixed with some excitement  in me. Government officials IAS officers, Air-marshals, High Court Justices and several others. I never got Such impressed by seeing any other bungalow or house ever in my life ( NOT EVEN THOSE IN GOLF LINKS). I cannot express that feeling in words. It just brought some spirit in me to live in one of those houses. A guard in a uniform always standing at the gate with a gun in his hand, an ambassador car with a red siren, a huge lawn and a big house to live in.
Then finally I reached my destination and completed my work. It is indeed a good place. It has got a very beautiful campus.I was getting late so I left and reached back the station as early as possible but suddenly I saw National School Drama(NSD). Its just beside the metro station. I wanted to see that too so I entered in it. It's campus is designed very beautifully. Some students were practicing their plays, a class room where Kathak classes were being carried out, an open air theater just for display made of statues. Just beside that Model Theater there was the reception and when I inquired about the acting classes something unusual and unexpected happen.
Me:Drama classes join karni hain, kahan apply karun?
Receptionist(angrily): Drama bahar road par hota hai bahar jakar karo
(and i understood that i asked a wrong question. I transformed the question)
Me: NSD join kanre k liye kahan apply karna hoga?
Then he told me the entire procedure about joining the NSD. I scolded myself for insulting the NSD and calling it as DRAMA classes because acting is about
feeling a person's  emotions and show it to the audience.....
Then I boarded the metro and reached back home. It was really a  good day for me. I really had  good experiences....

WILL ANNA's MOVEMENT HELP INIDA TO OVERCOME CORRUPTION???

At last, JANTAR MANTAR is all empty and we can just see some tourists over there, and obviously the posters on the sideways having strongly protesting lines written on them for Anna Hazare's anti corruption movement. Government has gave up and agreed to draft the bill - The Lokpal Bill. For first time INDIA will have a an anti-corruption department which will actually work to reduce or to make the nation free of corruption. Finally he middle class will not get frustrated just for making their licenses or voter identity cards, finally the lower class will get the complete ration without getting it siphoned off by the retailers.
But is it actually possible?????
I mean in our country where a common man gives his entire life after a small property dispute!!! where it takes 10 long years to our constitution find that who was guilty and who was innocent....how will we be able to do justice just within the span of a year?
I am not being pessimistic but I am just thinking it in a practical way and I hope some of you agree with me.
Today, a common man find it very difficult to lodge a complaint in a police station about an accident. He don't  run from it but he is just scared of the counter questions which will be raised on him. There are plenty of examples already set in our minds about the functioning of a government department and its image. We don't find any college student saying that he will be joining the police force or the politics because of its image set in our minds.
My main concern is that how will the this new prestigious department be able to stop corruption in our country where even a government office's peon gets bribe more than his salary?????

GUYS ITS HIGH TIME NOW!!!!! STOP CLICKING YOUR MOUSES ON IRRELEVANT THINGS & START THINKING ABOUT THE NATION!!!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Hello friends I am back with a very fresh topic- The Valentine's Day : The Day of Love . I have tried my level best this time to entertain you guys as through my previous blogs I wasn't able to attract much of you people.
So, coming back to the blog......
This whole week (The Valentine Week) gave me a lot of inspiration and some innovative ideas too to write this entry. Each day of the previous week had something unique and common in it. uniqueness was that they were given names other than Monday Tuesday......like Rose Day, Kiss Day....and common was that they all symbolized love, and finally on Monday, 14th February,2011 came the most awaited day of the week- The Valentine's Day : The Day of Love . In the morning when I left for my college I was realizing some different atmosphere in my surroundings specially in Metro. A huge crowd of good looking youngsters was easily sighted. Their faces were full of joy and excitement. I didn't need to guess that it was due to the excitement of meeting their lovers and the joy of celebrating the day. Most of them were holding some presents and bouquets (made of very beautiful flowers) in their hands. Their excitement to meet their loved ones was easily judged by their way of protecting their presents form the huge crowd of metro. In a metro where we are not able manage sufficient space to stand properly they were holding their presents up in the air so that it could not get damaged by the crowd, and the most pinching moment was that when a most common  announcement was made- is yatra seva mein thoda vilambh hoga....asuvidha ke kiye khed hai....can't forget the expressions on their faces. Although I also felt bad because I was also getting late for the college.
The entire city was flowing in the fragrance of love and the impact of the day  was easily felt which was seriously tremendous, but one question was striking me repeatedly that how many of those couple did  really know the reason for celebrating the day or the history of the day???? I guess more than half of them didn't or don't know it.
I will obviously tell it to you.......but first I would like to know that how many of you know it and if you don't then how many of  you want to know it....
So my next part of this entry is entirely dependent on you people...

PART - 2 Delhi not Country's Capital but Crime Capital of the Country

Firstly I would like to apologize to my readers that I took a longer time in bringing the second part of  my blog. Actually  I was busy with some stuff.

So this part is also related to crime in our city but its about our law and working of our constitution. Yesterday I got a message as "JUSTICE DENIED FOR ARUSHI & a CANDLE LIGHT  MARCH TO GET JUSTICE FOR HER". By reading the message I seriously felt pride for my city that today films not only put a negative impression on  our youth but also give some good ideas too to stand for a cause, but at the same time I also felt pity for that girl Arushi who could not get justice even till date( 2 years after her death) and her case is going to be shut down soon. I guess this Arushi-Hemraj murder mystery has became the biggest mystery of our country, and all credit goes to Noida Police. By just a bit of irresponsibility they failed to trap the main accused and has lost all the evidences too. Later on when the case was handed over to CBI , the investigation went over for two long years and today they declared that Dr.Rajesh Talwar is the main accused who killed his daughter which has been proved wrong in the court. Now the case is at its peak and rumors are like that the Supreme Court will be shutting down the case just because of lack of evidences.

There are numerous cases in our country in which sometimes the case is closed due to lack of solid evidence and sometimes justice is done after a very long time. The BMW case can be a good example for this(justice was done after nine years), but what is the benefit of getting justice after such a long period when the accused have lived his freely after his crime.  It is one more indicator that shows a high level of corruption in our country.
I can't get a good conclusion for my blog, instead I want you people to leave a conclusion to this.

its not me who have to fight against it!!! neither its you!!! its we who have to fight against it and make our country anti-corruption.

Delhi not the Country's but the Crime Capital Of INDIA

Hi guys hello to all. Its my first entry in the world of blogging so please forgive me if there are some errors.
So lets start with the blog:
This blog is about the increasing crime conditions in Delhi & NCR region. (and its the first half only)

This Sunday when I woke up and read the newspaper i read another gang rape in Delhi(mayapuri) and a murder near Wazirabad flyover. I switched on the T.V. and as I was scrolling through the channels I stopped on NDTV and again saw a muder in one of the Delhi regions. I thought for a while that once there was time when we used to call the Mumbai as the crime city of India, but today Delhi has took over Mumbai being the capital fo the nation moreover residence of most MPs, the Prime Minister and the Cheif Minister.
As far as crime is concerned in Delhi, maximum number of cases registered are of girl molestation. In the month of  December 22 cases were registered of rapes and girl killings. Today, you cannot ask a girl to come out of  her house on her on own after the dusk. When media raised questions to our(Delhi) new Police Commissioner Mr,B.K Gupta about the situation Delhi and about security of girls in the city he said that they(police dpt) can't provide security to each and every girl. So does that mean that girls should start taking their care on themselves or should carry a gun, a knife or a pepper spray everytime when  they leave their homes?
As a conclusion to my blog not to the situation I would like to advice all the girls and specially my city's girls that please don't try to run or get scared of any such molestation, instead try to fight against it.
